Settling In

Starting school for the first time can be a daunting prospect of pupils and their parents, and we are thrilled to share that Reception children have settled well into life at the academy. This term, they have enjoyed their learning activities, particularly our Write Dance where they mark make in shaving foam and with crayons, which serves to link their gross motor movements to the fine motor. They have been investigating our provision which has been linked to our topics learning all about ourselves and autumn as we made models of ourselves and have been learning our phonics sounds and working at putting them together to blend into words.
