VE Day
Today, our children learnt about VE Day and its importance.
Pupils learnt that VE Day stands for Victory in Europe Day, which marked the end of World War 2.
Children looked at how people celebrated the ending of the war - through street parties, singing and dancing!
This afternoon, the children did some fun activities linked with VE Day.
