Sheffield Botanical Gardens

Year One had a tremendous trip to Sheffield Botanical Gardens. It was a rainy and cold day but we all enjoyed walking around the garden and looking at all the amazing variety of trees, bushes and flowers.

Luckily when we had had enough of the rain we were able to escape inside the warmth and shelter of the glass-houses. Here we were able to enjoy our lunch before checking out the plants that lived there, including spiky cacti and super succulents.

This trip really opened our eyes to all the different shapes, colours and smells of the botanical world.

We also had a great time exploring the bear pit!
